Mr. Mukhin is an author of over 100 scientific papers, including monographs in the field of political science and history of Russia.
In 2002, as the editor-in-chief Mr. Mukhin issued an Internet- magazine FEC (Facts, Events, Comments).
From September, 2004 to September, 2005 he led a special course “Information wars” at the Russian State Social University; in 2012, he became an Associate Professor of the Russian State University for the Humanities.
Mr. Mukhin is a columnist of Echo of Moscow, Slon.ru, RBC-daily, Nezavisimaya Gazeta, Argumenti Nedeli (Arguments of the Week). Alexey Mukhin’s comments on current political and economic developments are regularly cited by the leading national and international media, such as Spiegel, The New York Times, Le Figaro, France 24, Deutsche Welle, Kommersant, Vedomosti, RBC-daily, Nezavisimaya Gazeta, Expert, Profile, Izvestia, Channel One, Russia today, Channel 5, Business FM, Finam FM, Kommersant FM, Echo of Moscow and many others.
Alexey Mukhin is a participant of the Valdai club.
He is a participant of the annual World Economic Forum in Krynica (Poland).
He is a member of the Association of Historians of intelligence services.
Mr. Mukhin is President of the Federation of Development of Aikido Ren Wa Kai. He holds the Fourth Dan of Aikido.
